My initials aren't that exciting. They're pretty religious if you think about it. And no, I'm not Mormon. It would be pretty handy if I was....
I was chatting with a coworker and we came up with "Lisa Does Stuff."
It's not that catchy, but I like the ring it has to it. I haven't done enough with this life. If it was all over tomorrow, what would I have to show for it? Not enough my friends. So lets get to doing and making!
Now I'm off to dye my hair...I need to look spunkier!

Progress?
I wouldn’t say that I’ve made amazing progress. I’ve made OK progress. I still hit the snooze button. Today I snoozed from 7 to 7:45-that means I hit the button 5 times. And I was late on Tuesday because I hit the snooze too many times (in my defense, I slept about 2 hours Monday night-back to that in a minute.)
But the intention behind the no snooze plan is still there and I still feel pretty good about it all. I restarted a couple of good habits. I went to spin both this week and last and I went to a Saturday morning yoga class I’ve been meaning to try out for 3 years. Now I’m going to start on my “30 while I’m 30” list (I’m OK with the fact that I’m already 4 months into being 30.) I guess it would help if I came up with 30 things for the list, I think currently have 16.
Long story short, its time to get out of this rut. Granted, it’s not a bad rut, I have the wonderful company of my husband whom I adore. But I need some change. And I think crafts will be a big part of that. I need to create things that I will immediately or eventually hate. That’s part of the crafting process, I never like how they turn out, but I love the process.
Like the blog. I’m sure I’ll hate 99% of the posts, but I don’t care.

Lets get this party started.
My life needs a little bit of a tweak. Ok, maybe more than a little tweak. But baby steps lead to success.
So, yesterday I made a resolution. No more snooze button. When my alarm goes off, I'm getting up and getting this life going.
So yesterday I got up early, made it into work early and finally booked our trip to Los Angeles. I can't say it was the most productive workday of my life, but it was solid. I even ended it with my first spin class in 4 months. And then I came home and made a tasty dinner. Not too shabby!
Today, I snoozed twice-oops. I felt bad, so I got up and emptied the dishwasher, blow-dried my hair and worked late. So overall, I consider today OK.
And I restarted my blog. Not too shabby.
Posts 2, 3 and 4 will be a big deal. Baby steps.
